Exciting news! Online and Mobile Banking has upgraded!

Computer with new upgrade

Educators is thrilled to announce that Online and Mobile Banking has upgraded!

The upgrade features:

  • A new design with fresh colors.
  • Streamlined navigation to make it easier to find what you need.

These changes will be automatic for Online Banking. Once you log in to your account on ecu.com, you will experience the new version immediately. For Mobile Banking, if you do not have automatic updates on, you will be prompted to update the app once you open it.

We’re always looking for ways to improve Online and Mobile Banking, and we hope these upgrades make your experience even more user-friendly! Please note, you may notice some irregularities while the upgrades are in progress.

  1. How do I opt for the 4-digit code to log into the mobile app? I had that on the old app, and now I have to type in username and password each time. I’d much rather use the 4-digit code please.

    1. Hi Michele! Thank you for your question. Since most newer phones now offer biometric security features (unlocking with facial recognition, fingerprint or eyes) the PIN feature was removed as biometrics is a more secure method of authentication.

    1. Hi Robert! Thank you for your question.

      2. Click “Accounts.” (A drop-down menu should appear.)
      3. Click “eDocs.”

  2. Hello,

I do not see a “log off” button to log off on your new online website. Can you pls let me know where it is?
    Thank You.

    1. Hi Amy, thank you for your question.
      1. Click “More” at the bottom of the app.
      2. Click “Transfer and Pay.”
      3. Click “Zelle.”

  3. My new phone has biometrics. I can open my phone with a fingerprint, but it does not display on the mobile app. What am I missing? I also miss the 4 digit PIN on the online banking app.
    Thanks

    1. Hi Wayne,

Since most newer phones now offer biometric security features (unlocking with facial recognition, fingerprint or eyes) the PIN feature was removed as biometrics is a more secure method of authentication.
You can enable biometrics right in the Educators app. Go into settings, click “Biometrics” and toggle it on.

  4. I don’t use biometrics on my phone. How do I use the 4 digit pin? That was so much easier then typing in UN and PW all the time. Aldo, how do access older statements? It’s limited in how far back I can see. Someone was supposed to email them to me but I never received.

    1. Hi Jennifer! Since most newer phones now offer biometric security features (unlocking with facial recognition, fingerprint or eyes) the PIN feature was removed because biometrics is a more secure method of authentication. Someone will also be in contact with you to send over your statements.

  5. I have biometrics and had facial recognition at one point but now it doesn’t have that option and won’t let me sign in

    1. Hi Lajon, Thank you for your message. Please sign in to the app, click “Settings” and then click “Biometrics” to set up biometrics again.
