1There is no charge for using Bill Pay if at least two bills are paid each month; otherwise, there is a $5.95 per month fee (no limit on the number of bills paid). 2Payroll is not always available for early posting. The Federal Reserve doesn’t always provide the payroll files early, so checks should not be written or payroll funds used until they are actually posted to the account. Direct Deposit and payroll deduction are not available for all employee groups. Check with Educators or your employer’s benefits department. 3If you opened an account after Jan. 1, 2010 and are not signed up for eStatements, your account is subject to a $2 monthly fee. Fees could reduce earnings.
Check 21 – Legislation is now in place to allow your check to be replaced in the check process by an electronic check. This is designed to improve efficiency in faster check clearing, decrease fraud and increase security. Checks may clear within one or two days, so make sure funds are on deposit before writing. Should you need a copy of a check, it may be a reproduction of the electronic check, known as a “substitute check.” This form will maintain the legal equivalence of the original check.
