Online Business Banking is an upgrade to Online Banking that helps you manage business finances on your time. Educators Credit Union offers two types of Online Business Banking – Basic and Premium. Opening an Account
Do you own a small business in our 11-county service area: Dane, Green, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Rock, Walworth, Washington or Waukesha counties? You are eligible to open a business checking account with Educators Credit Union!
To open a business checking account, please visit any Educators Credit Union branch.
Requirements for Account Opening
You will need:
- Your Social Security Number or Individual Tax Identification Number.
- An official document with your Employer Identification Number.
- All signers, including any owner with 25% or more interest, will need to provide personally identifiable information (PII) to establish the account. PII includes Name, Address, Date of Birth, Social Security Number and Valid ID with current address.
- Business documentation:
- For Corporations: Articles of Incorporation.
- For Limited Liability Companies (LLC): Articles of Organization.
- For Partnerships: Partnership Agreement.
- For Tax-Exempt Organizations: Organizational Bylaws or Meeting Minutes.
- A $5 minimum deposit that represents your ownership share of the credit union.
- A $25 minimum set-up charge on all business checking accounts (one-time waiver for non-profit checking).
