Enrolling your child in Mind & Money is easy!
If your child already has an Educators account, and you are a joint owner, just log in to Online or Mobile Banking and click Mind & Money under the “Accounts” tab to get started.
Once enrolled, no additional accounts, app downloads or sign-in credentials are needed! If your child doesn’t have a savings or checking account with Educators Credit Union, please open an account with Educators Connect Cam™.

Mind & Money encourages kids and teens to learn how to save money and build strong financial habits through an interactive tool available in Online Banking and the Mobile Banking app. Mind & Money allows you to assign tasks to your young saver and financially reward them for successfully completing the tasks. You can also reward them for getting good grades and making good financial decisions by easily transferring money from your Educators account to theirs.
You can also lend your child money, pay them an allowance and send them spending money through this simple tool. For every good financial decision your child makes, they’ll be awarded a trophy!
To enroll in Mind & Money:
- You and your child must have an active Educators account in good standing.
- You must be listed as a joint owner on your child’s Educators account.
- You’re required to have Online or Mobile Banking access. It is preferred that your child has their own Online Banking credentials. If you feel your child is too young to access Online or Mobile Banking, you can mark tasks complete and submit requests on your child’s behalf.
Yes. Visit any Educators branch or use Educators Connect Cam™ to open an account.
Yes. Both you and your child(ren) must have an Educators account to use Mind & Money. Visit any Educators branch or use Educators Connect Cam™ to open an account.
An Educators savings, checking or money market account can be used with Mind & Money to provide rewards and money transfers.

The Mind & Money program encourages kids and teens to learn how to save money and build strong financial habits first-hand through an interactive tool available in your Online Banking account and the Educators Mobile Banking app. Mind & Money allows your parent or guardian to assign tasks to you and financially reward you for successfully completing the tasks, getting good grades and making good financial decisions by easily transferring money from their Educators account to yours.
Your parent or guardian can also lend you money, pay you an allowance and send you spending money through this simple tool. For every good financial decision you make, you’ll be awarded a trophy!
Your parent or guardian must enroll you from Online or Mobile Banking by clicking on Mind & Money under “Accounts.”
To set a budget with your parent or guardian:
- Sign into Online or Mobile Banking and open Mind & Money under “Accounts.”
- On the “Overview” tab, select “Create/Update budget.”
- With your parent’s or guardian’s help, enter your total deposits, expenses, short-term savings, long-term savings, charitable giving and spending goals for the month.
- Once complete, select “Submit.”
You can earn a trophy by completing any of the following requirements:
- Make five loan payments on time.
- Pay off a loan.
- Reach your savings goal.
- Complete a monthly budget.
- Complete 10 tasks.
To view your place on the trophy leaderboard, you must:
- Sign into Online or Mobile Banking and open Mind & Money under “Accounts.”
- Select the “trophies earned this month” button next to your avatar photo at the top of the page.
- Select the “Leaderboard” tab.
- You can view your place on the leaderboard for your household and your place on the leaderboard for all Mind & Money participants at Educators.
