Educators Credit Union Merger With Empower Credit Union
You might have noticed something exciting if you’ve been driving around Milwaukee recently! There are a few extra flower marks floating around the area this year. We are delighted to announce that Educators and Empower credit unions merged as of January 1, 2025! With similar missions, values and goals, we were confident that this merger made sense and would be a benefit to all.
Keeping Empower members and our own members in mind, we welcomed two new branches and all the Empower staff into our family! Empower members can continue to see the same faces and experience the same service they love—or explore the 23 new locations they now have access to—and Educators members have two new conveniently located branches in the Milwaukee area.
So, give a warm welcome to the fresh faces you’ll see at our new branches! This is a great start to 2025 for the credit union, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings.
