Welcome to Educators Credit Union!

To gain access to your online banking account, follow these simple instructions.

  1. Click the “Login” button in the top right corner of the page.
  2. Using your existing Aurora login, enter your User Name.
  3. Click Login
  4. Enter your existing Aurora password

You will be then be able to access your accounts.

For members that didn’t previously use Aurora’s online banking system, you will need to register.

To register, follow these simple instructions.

  1. Click the “Login” button in the top right corner of the page.
  2. Select “New User” located above the Forgot Password link.
  3. Agree to the Online Banking Agreement & Disclosure Document
  4. Follow the additional steps in the Application Process.

Why is Aurora Credit Union merging with Educators Credit Union?

Aurora Credit Union considered this merger as an opportunity to improve the already great services it offers to members. Educators Credit Union was picked because its values align with Aurora Credit Union’s. Educators wants to give its members first-class personalized service, financial education and the tools they need to meet their goals.

Educators also offers in-depth online and mobile tools to make accessing your account easier than ever. Through the credit union’s Online and Mobile Banking you can transfer money, pay bills online with Bill Pay, make mobile deposits with FlashCash and much more. Their Ctrl™ app offers gives you the power to turn your Educators credit and debit cards on or off, set payment restrictions, get spending notifications and more.

Overall, your Board of Directors believes merging with Educators Credit Union provides the best long-term benefit to you, the current members of Aurora Credit Union.

What will happen to the current Aurora  Credit Union offices?

Both Aurora Credit Union offices will remain open and continue to provide exceptional service to members. All employees will be guaranteed continued employment.

Additionally, Aurora Credit Union members will gain access to Educators’ 22 other Wisconsin locations, Online and Mobile Banking, and access to more than 55,000 fee-free Allpoint and Alliance One ATM locations around the country.

After the merger, members would see an increase in services and products, including:

  • Lending a Hand — Educators Credit Union Member Finance Representatives will sit down with you to review your current higher-rate credit card or loans. They will then make recommendations on ways you can save money through Educators’ low interest rates. Between the start of 2016 and end of 2017, the credit union saved its members more than $70 million in interest.

What will happen to my existing accounts and rates?

All existing balances would transfer to Educators Credit Union on the data merger date, with verification statements mailed by both Aurora Credit Union and Educators once the systems are merged on January 1, 2019. Your rates will remain the same for all loan or share certificates that are transferred (any variable rate terms can still apply in the future).

Will my Aurora Credit Union account number change?

All accounts and balances will be transferred to Educators Credit Union computer system, so new account numbers will be assigned and used for balancing purposes. If you already have an Educators account, it cannot be used as part of the merger, but you can request to consolidate your Educators accounts after the merger is complete.

If I have a Aurora Credit Union checking account, will I need new checks?

Yes, Educators Credit Union will provide a free box of checks to all Aurora Credit Union members. If you have not received these checks after January 1, 2019, please stop into any Educators branch or call 262.886.5900.

Direct Deposit/Electronic Payments

  • All of your automatic deposits (ACH)  will be posted to your account as usual.
  • All of your automatic payments will be debited from your account as usual.
  • Educators will notify merchants of the change; most will update your account information without any assistance from you.
  • After 6 months, if an employer or a merchant will not make a change without your authorization, we will contact you for assistance.

Change in Terms

Effective Jan. 1, 2019, all current Aurora Credit Union fees will switch to the current Educators Credit Union fees. See what’s changing on Jan. 1 below. You can see all of Educators Credit Union’s fees at www.ecu.com/forms-and-disclosures.
