Educators Onsite Days and Workshops

These onsite days and sessions focus on financial topics which help employees better understand financial details and help them make more informed financial decisions. Topics available include the following:

Financial Fitness Day On-site

Educators Credit Union provides a financial quiz to test employee knowledge on financial matters.  A free gift is given to staff who complete the quiz and receive their score with helpful suggestions on how they might achieve more of their goals.

 

WORKSHOP:

Basics of Personal Finance

Understanding and practicing smart money management is all it takes for most people to reach their goals.  This workshop is designed to give you the basic fundamentals of finance and how to handle your money more wisely to reach short- and long-term goals.

What Your Score?® Day On-site

Educators runs complimentary credit reports for employees and sits down with them to explain how employees can maintain or improve their current score.

Purchasing the right vehicle at the right price can be very stressful and time-consuming.  This workshop will focus on steps to follow to help put you in the driver’s seat by determining what you afford before you shop, what kind of vehicle best fits your needs, evaluating leasing vs. buying a vehicle, and doing your research first.

You’ll learn what identity theft is, how thieves get and use your personal information, how to protect yourself and what to do if you are a victim. With some good knowledge and simple steps, you can protect your identity from those who want it.

Experiencing a layoff or unexpected change in employment during any point in your life can be a scary and emotional situation. While you might undergo a bit of turmoil for a while, there are steps you can take to help ensure a quick and manageable recovery.
