Shred day at the Kenosha Public Library (7979 38th Avenue, Kenosha) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Remember to keep a few things in mind:
- There is a maximum of 5 boxes and up to 100 pounds of paper per car. We can accept paper only — no boxes, plastic bags or other materials.
- Check over the documents you are going to shred to make sure you aren’t getting rid of anything of importance. For example: a birth certificate, social security card, marriage license, etc.
- At the shred day, please remain in your vehicle.
- While our shred days are scheduled to last either a few hours, the actual length of the shred day depends on how full the truck is. If the truck is full before the scheduled end time, the remainder of the shred day will be canceled.
