Educators Credit Union is partnering with Kenosha Human Development Services to help first responders working with children who have autism or have experienced trauma.
Educators Credit Union will be collecting supplies at our Kenosha Branch, 4215 Green Bay Rd., on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
During this time, you can come by and make your donation. Also, the Kenosha Kingfish will join us to celebrate your generosity as we support this important cause.
Sensory supplies can help calm children with special needs in difficult situations. Using these tools can create better experiences for everyone involved.
Supplies needed include:
- Weighted blankets
- Fidget toys like smooth stones, stress balls, worm balls, rubber band bracelets
- Koosh balls
- Non-verbal communication cards
- Dry erase boards and markers
- Safety lollipops
- Essential oil roller balls
- Noise-canceling headsets
