35 High School Seniors Awarded the 2020 Educators Credit Union Scholarship

2020 Graduates

Nearly three dozen high school seniors have cause to celebrate now that Educators Credit Union has selected its 2020 scholarship recipients!

For the third straight year, Educators awarded 35 local students with $2,000 each to help pay for higher education. To receive the scholarship, they had to demonstrate one or more of our core values, attend a high school in our service area, be eligible to graduate at the end of the 2019-2020 school year, have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 by the end of the first semester, be accepted by an accredited college or technical school, and have been an Educators Credit Union member for at least one year.

These students have big goals in mind.

“I am looking forward to studying as an educator so that I can share my talents and passions with many students every year,” said scholarship recipient Chris Eaton. “I love working collaboratively, and I know that as a teacher, I will be able to inspire many students while enjoying the greatest gift life has to offer: music!“
