The Rundown of the 88Nine Block Party

This weekend, 88Nine Radio Milwaukee rocked its neighborhood with its first ever block party presented by Educators Credit Union! The block party was a celebration of 88Nine’s 10th anniversary. 88Nine never misses an opportunity to put its city on display, and it brought together some of the best things Milwaukee has to offer.

On stage, great local Milwaukee artists were showcased along with popular national indy artists. Among the performers, attendees were able to hear a local mariachi band and drum line, putting on a street performance for all to enjoy.

Dozens of local food vendors lined the street with lunch and dessert options while the locals enjoyed amazing music and met new people while bonding over the tunes.

VIP ticket holders could go inside 88Nine Radio Milwaukee and chow down on some tacos, watch live broadcasts, rock out to special studio performances from block party artists, access an exclusive rooftop view and dance the night away at the special after party.
